House Cup · judging v1

Official rules

The short version: free to enter, chips are worthless, prizes are real, and skill decides who wins them.

1. The promotion

  • The House Cup is a free-to-enter game of skill run as a trade promotion by the Promoter named in section 10. No purchase is necessary to enter or to win, and paying for or holding anything (including $HOUSEMONEY) never improves your chances or affects eligibility.
  • Chips are play money. They have no cash value, can’t be bought, sold, transferred or cashed out, and reset every day.
  • Open to people aged 18 or over where it is lawful to take part. Employees of the Promoter and sponsors, and their immediate families, can play but can’t win prizes.

2. How it runs

  • Each day (the Daily Cup) every entrant gets $10,000 in chips to bet on the listed sports slate at the published odds. The day opens at 5:00pm and locks at 4:59:59pm the next day, Sydney time — so one day covers the AFL and NRL night games, the Premier League overnight and the US games the next morning.
  • Players whose first slip is placed 18 hours or more after the Drop (11:00am Sydney) get full chips and half points for that day.
  • The Weekly Cup ranks players by the sum of their best 5 daily point totals in the week (Monday to Sunday). The Season runs 12 weeks and ranks cumulative points.

3. Skill determination (judging)

  • Winners are decided on merit by the published criteria below. There are no random draws anywhere in the prize path.
  • Daily points are awarded by final chip rank, with a bonus for the top 20% by return on stake among players with at least 5 settled bets.
  • Ties are broken deterministically: higher best single day, then fewer settled bets.
  • The judging criteria version (currently v1) is stamped on every cup. Changes apply only to cups that start after they are published.

4. Prize eligibility

  • To be eligible for a weekly prize in a week you must have at least 15 settled sports bets, no slip priced over +1500 (decimal 16), no single stake over 25% of your daily chips, and no Revive used.
  • Ineligible players still appear on the leaderboards. Prizes go to the highest-ranked eligible players; a prize with no eligible player is not awarded that week.
  • Neon Downs virtual racing is excluded from all prize scoring. It has its own race chips ($1000 each day), separate from Cup chips, and never counts toward chips, points, return on stake or eligibility.
  • A “Whale” board ranks the biggest chip stacks for bragging rights and share cards only. It pays no prizes.

5. Prizes

  • Weekly prizes: 1st 25M $HOUSEMONEY, 2nd 15M $HOUSEMONEY, 3rd 10M $HOUSEMONEY. Season prizes: 1st 250M $HOUSEMONEY, 2nd 125M $HOUSEMONEY, 3rd 50M $HOUSEMONEY.
  • Each prize is a fixed value in Australian dollars, paid in $HOUSEMONEY tokens from the Prize Treasury to the winner’s linked Solana wallet. Daily results earn points, badges and share cards, not prizes. No cash alternative is offered.
  • The number of tokens is set once: prize value ÷ the time-weighted average $HOUSEMONEY price in AUD over the 7 days ending when the week is finalized. The price comes from the $HOUSEMONEY/USD feed named on the Transparency page, converted at the European Central Bank AUD/USD reference rate. After that the token amount is fixed; the token’s market value when you receive or sell it may differ.
  • If $HOUSEMONEY is not yet trading when a prize is won, the prize is recorded on your account as a fixed number of tokens and paid once trading begins. If the price feed has a gap of more than 6 hours in the window, pricing waits until a clean 7-day window exists. Any payout above 5,000,000 tokens is held for manual review.
  • Each payout records the average price, the token amount, the transaction and the market value when it landed; this record is available on your Prizes page for your tax records. Prizes are not transferable.
  • Current prizes and sponsors are on the Prizes page; every award and payment is on the Transparency page.

6. Claiming a prize

  • Winners are notified within 24 hours of the week being finalized. Prizes are paid in $HOUSEMONEY to the wallet the winner signed in with — that wallet is the account, so there is no address to enter and nothing to claim for the payment itself. A declaration (18+, one account) is required, and an identity check only where the law requires one; any document is reviewed privately and deleted after the check.
  • Unclaimed prizes lapse after 28 days. Results can be disputed within 24 hours of finalization by contacting support.

7. Fair play

  • One account per person. Multiple accounts, collusion, automated play or exploiting errors void eligibility and may close the account.
  • You can cancel a sports slip within 2 minutes of placing it, as long as none of its games has started. A cancelled slip is removed and its stake returns to your chips; after that, slips stand.
  • If a game is postponed more than 48 hours, or odds were clearly wrong when a bet was accepted, the affected bet is void and its stake returned in chips.

8. Neon Downs (virtual racing)

  • A race goes off every 3 minutes, 24/7, with betting closing 15 seconds before the off. Bets use race chips only: $1000 fresh each day at the Drop, separate from your Cup chips, with no cash value.
  • Each result is fixed by a seed derived from a secret key and the race number. Its SHA-256 commitment is published before betting opens and the seed is revealed when betting closes, so anyone can check the result. If a seed can’t be revealed, the race is void and race chips are refunded.
  • Fixed odds with a published margin: 12% on win, 18% on exotics. Racing is entertainment and never affects prizes.

9. Publicity and privacy

  • Winners agree that their username and prize may be published. Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles; you can ask for your data to be exported or deleted.

10. Promoter, permits and law

  • Promoter: [company name, ABN and address — to be completed before the first prize week].
  • The House Cup is a game of skill, so no trade-promotion lottery permits are required. If any future promotion includes an element of chance, the relevant NSW, ACT and SA permit numbers will be listed here.
  • These rules are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
